You are growing a baby – congratulations! I know it’s not always comfortable…the cramps, the acid reflux, the swelling…You may not be feeling amazing. It’s ok. My job as a maternity and pregnancy photographer is to make you look and feel amazing for an hour or so. Then you can throw your legs up and eat chocolate the rest of the day!
As a mama of 3 kids I know how it feels to be pregnant. I also know why I had pregnancy photos taken. It wasn’t only for me, but for my little ones. I want my children to know how blessed I was to be called to be their mother and what a privilege it was to carry them.
The ideal time to schedule your pregnancy photo session is around 30-34 weeks, when the tummy is nice and round. This will vary with each woman. You’ll get the most from your photo session when you feel good and have a nice belly, but before the baby begins to venture downward. Some women who grow babies a bit more rapidly may choose to come around 28-32 weeks. You’ve got a lot on your plate as baby’s arrival nears. Just do your best to book a maternity photography session when your tummy’s round and you’re feeling good, and let us take care of the rest!
It is best to schedule at least 1-2 weeks in advance. Our photography studio always leaves room for the expectant mama and new arrivals, so if you near the end of your term and need a session, just call me or contact us so we can get you in!
